Influence of alloying elements on the thermal behavior of NiTi shape memory alloys

چکیده

NiTi based shape memory alloys are one of the most intensely studied from its class. Therefore, diverse commercial applications have been developed due to certain properties such as: effect, superelasticity and corrosion resistance. Currently, main automotive manufacturing aerospace actuators, biomedical devices or pipe couplings. In recent years, alloyed with a third element in order improve above-mentioned properties. investigate influence alloying elements on thermal behavior alloys, addition (Ta Nb) is under investigation present study. The three (NiTi, NiTiNb NiTiTa) was by differential scanning calorimetry. Following experiments, it observed that influences critical transformation temperatures.
